Jul 20, 2006 Aromas are bready with a little wheaty yeast and some coriander(?). Appearance is about right for a witbier, but nothing to get me too excited. Flavor is pretty plain, too, with a bit of a sour character that seemed to go away as the beer breathed/warmed(?) more... I didn’t like this quality at first, but it grew on me a bit. Still, this isn’t going to be on my top ten list any time soon.

Jul 13, 2006 Bottle sampled with beerded_one. Pours hazy yellow with a decent sized white head. Aroma of spices, citrus, yeast, wheat, and fruit. The flavor is sweet, wheat, spices, slight sour notes, with a tiny bitter hops finish. Good body, good brew.

Jul 10, 2006 I really don’t understand this style too much, but I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt anyway. It seems like a good example of the style, but it’s just too light for me. The spice flavors are up front, with something nice (was that fruit? candy?) lurking just beneath. Not terrible, but I’d rather have almost anything else from Victory.

Jul 8, 2006 Pours a light gold, almost like ginger ale. It has a fruit hopped wheat nose. It tastes very fresh, nice sweet, spicy wheat flavor. Goes down smooth, a nice summer ale.

Jul 8, 2006 on tap-pours a white head with hazy pale yellow color. Aroma is banana, clove, perfumy/floral, wheat. Taste follows.

Jun 29, 2006 Wheat and banana,bubblegum aroma,very clear pale yellow color, lemony tangy ,bananay taste very tart in finish,cross between wit and weizen ,seems like Victory was going for session style more then full bodied taste
