Mr_Stitch (119), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a one finger head that disappears quickly into a thin blanket over the top of the beer. Tons of sediment. Aroma is spices, lemon, permanent marker and funk. Taste starts off spicy then moves into the citrus flavors and finishes off rather tangy and clean. A nice beer as we get into the warmer weather, I can understand why beerbelly10 says its "overall one of my favorite beers to mow the lawn with." I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for an outdoor summery beer.
LordBeamish (134), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Aug 4, 2008 Had this one on tap at the Gramercy Tavern in NYC.....one of the freshest and most enjoyable beers I have had in awhile....the perfect summer thirst quencher....citrusy aroma is followed up by a sweet citrus taste that finishes with the perfect amount of bitterness....some spicey tones are also evident.....this beer stood up incredibly well to the excellent chow and bold flavours at Gramercy......I think this is a beer that, if tasted when fresh, would be rated much higher. Naka (397), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 3, 2008 Bottle at The Pub in Ohiopyle, PA. Pours a pale hazy straw color with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty with some coriander and citrus. The flavor is pretty sweet, but has a really nice spice to it. Some clove and coriander with a bit of bitterness to it. Light body makes this pretty refreshing, especially after a day of white water rafting. Gpnterojd (132), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Jul 29, 2008 My bottle is about 2 years old. Pours an off-colour yellow with a small head. Aroma is fairly full and contains cloves and a little citrus. Pleasant but hard to place all the scents. The flavour has some sweetness, orange, blood, a distinct type of yeast and the inevitable spice. Not bad. There are a few garbagey qualities to the aftertaste, but I figure my bottle’s old enough to explain that. Finishes dry. matt7215 (515), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Jul 29, 2008 12 oz bottle from a trade with Linus_Stick. pours hazy yellow with a small and quickly gone white head. typical wit aromas with a touch more hops then normal. flavours are pretty good but lacking muscle power and complexity. a servicable wit and quite refreshing but nothing really special. badlizard (1408), San Diego, California, USA Jul 29, 2008 Bottle from Bevmo. Hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Good strong orange and corriander aroma and taste with a fairly crisp clean palate. very drinkable and refreshing. Not bad.
