2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a nice golden color with a frothy white head. Aroma is tangy with a sour yeast aroma I was not expected was almost concerned for an infection. Some additional notes of pepper, vanilla, and wine. Flavor is a little astringent and not a big fan. I can pick out hte oak and the golden monkey that underlies this. Mouthfeel is fizzy carbonation is average. Overall I am not a big fan.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Capones Annual Black Friday event, Norristown PA, 29/11/13.
Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering that thins to edgework.
Nose is vanilla, white chocolate, grape skins, peach, sweet notes.
Taste comprises a mellow white wine woody tang, vanilla caramel fudge, sugars, light yeast, background citric, much more mellow than the base beer.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, vinous fruit finale.
Nice stuff, beats the base beer for me, the white wine BA seems to have tempered it well, alcohol well integrated.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a slightly hazed pale golden color with a soft, subtle white sudsy head. Aroma is fantastically complex, combining white wine and Belgian yeast; sweet grape-fruity wine character, honey and spice with a touch of alcohol. Taste is soft and sweet; starts with a fruity chardonnay character and a malty undertone, sweet and spiced throughout with some woody and alcohol notes in the finish. A great take on the Monkey!

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden yellow with very light head. Banana and lemon zest notes. Very sweet, almost too sweet. The malts overpower the hops, but the beer’s still tasty (if you’re okay with sweet beers).

750 ml bottle
Thanks to tastybeer for sharing this beer. It was a decent release from Victory in line with most of their other options from this Pennsylvania brewery. It was not good enough to pick up another one when I saw one on sale in Ohio but if you like sweet Belgians then give it a shot.
Aroma / Appearance - A carbonated orange body sparkles along with a crisp white head like a sheet of frosting. It almost looks like somebody inverted an orange creamsicle and stuck it in a pint glass. Lemons, citrus, and white reisling give it a fruity feel along with mango and other tropical contributions.
Flavor / Palate - Creamsicle, sugar, and orange melons feel like drinking a warm summer day at an ice cream shop. The creamy mouthfeel is sticky and a little boozy. The vinous finish tastes like drinking white wine in the guise of beer. Overall this is decent, especially the grapefruit and lemons, but it is hard to figure out what feature is meant to stand out the most.

Draft at Blind Tiger with Paul, Andy and Pearl. Pours a pale hazy golden body with no head or lacing. Aroma is dominated by harsh spice, yeast and dry wine. Mouthfeel is okay with notes of spice, yeast, clove, oak and wine.
