An interesting beer. Poor a nice orange to amber color with a nice off white head and nice lacing. ARoma is very nice with intense piney hops. Flavor is caramel and citrus hopps with a dry finish and a little funky taste to me as yet undescribed. All in all a decent beer and worth the calarois as are all Vicotry products

1 pint 9.4 ounce bottle that was C and Ced. A big fluffy beigeish head. I rolled the bottle resulting in a very cloudy beer. Deep golden brown, like nice tan. Spices are tasted. That includes cinnamon. Earth and caramel. Lots of malts with yeast to match. Not a lot of funk at all and it drinks more like a Belgian Ale.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2016 Pours Golden amber color, with huge fluffy tan head. The aroma is sour apple, earthy, floral, hay. The flavor is sour, with floral, earthy, some hay, grapefruit. No distinct flavors other than those. Really like it?s quite interesting for someone who is adventurous.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with fluffy head. Aromas of sour fruit, woody notes, and some horseblanket. Flavors of sour grapes, yeast, hay, and some funk.

Clear copper pour with thick off white head. Aroma and taste are yeasty biscuit and citrus.

Bottle shared with dad for Halloween. Snifter pour was golden yellow with big head. Aroma is lemon, grapefruit, funk, horseblanket, biscuit, and wet hay. Taste is similar with the fruit first (citrus) and then the funk, biscuit, and hay. Big carb, finish is dry and unexciting. Not bad.

Gusher. Hazy honey with big head. Smells fruity and boozy.Tastes hoppy with a light bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark orange with a high, sticky, heavy, off-white head. Nose is orange, lime, latex, lavender, sage, funk, rosemary, and honey -- there’s a lot going on here. On the tongue, things start off with a surprisingly cool herbal note; it’s almost like camphor or tea tree oil. After that, it gets snarly, funky, and bitter, with some underlying grapefruit and orange caramel notes; I have to say, though, I’m not getting a lot of sourness. Makes me wonder if it’s dropped out somehow. Finish is long and IPA-bitter. I’m just not getting as much wild here as I expected.

Poured from bottle into a tulip: Pours hazy golden with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of caramel, Belgian funk, coriander, and resin. Taste is mildly sweet, moderately tart, and gets a little bitter on the back end from the hops. Solid beer, light to medium body, good stuff.

19 Aug 2015, bottle. orange, faintly hazy, steady bubbles. nose is faintly spicy/peppery, slightly sweet, and belgian yeast. med body and moderately fizzy. smarties candy, some funk. meh.

Bottle at home. "Bottled on June 11 2014". Clear amber pour with a huge, creamy white head. The aroma is funky Brett with citrus notes also evident. Wild Devil has a sweet malty base, surely becoming deeper and more savory after a year on the lees. Really complex, with black pepper, shiitake mushroom stock, apricot chutney, grassy hops, horseblanket, and leathery, rubbery, earthy Brett flavors coming through. A very long finish starts with a glimmer of the bright, fresh, hoppiness of Hop Devil, but quickly turns to funky Brett notes. Really nicely balanced, more woody than sour, no nasty balsamic vinegar flavors. Outstanding.
