Bottle drank in the hotel in Nashville - picked up at Shenanigan’s in Lexington. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. Effervescent. The nose has wheat, yeast, lemon, biscuits, bubblegum, other phenolic notes. Light to medium sweet flavor with some sugary wheat, hints of white bread, white grape, hay, lemon candies, dough. Medium bodied with average carbonation and massaging texture. Fairly sweet on the finish, with further biscuits, melon, tangerine, some lemon meringue, straw. Easygoing and drinkable.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, fluffy, well retained white head, with minimal lacing, over a hazy yellow (SRM 3) body.......nose is wheat, fruits with light lemon notes, herbal hops, balanced......taste is wheat, light citrus fruits with primarily lemon tones, light clove, mild hints of banana/bubblegum, finishing with the barest wisps of hop bitterness.......mouth feel, light of medium body, minimal alcohol, high carbonation. This is an interesting wheat. It is not as spicy as the true Hefe’s, but is much more so than the typical American Wheat. BJCP 7/3/15/4/7

Pale yellow with a remarkable frothy eggshell head, spotty lace. Aroma of floral hops and crisp fruits, tart apples and sharp yeast. Medium bodied, taste is nicely balanced with a mildly tart fruitiness and a mellow malt finish, notes of clove One of the better takes on the style.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Aroma is yeast, fruity esters, Noble hops, clove, hint of citrus, banana. Appearance is pale yellow with greenish tinge, attractive sparkle and three finger-width fizzy white head with decent retention and minimal sudsy lacing. Taste is German malts and yeast with mild sweet fruity esters, back end bitterness and mild clove. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with average to lively carbonation and lasting tart yeasty finish. Overall, a decent wheat ale without anything too noteworthy.

Light straw color with a tallish white head. Continual flow of small bubbles. Light wheat, and hints of orange citrus and spice. A wit smelling brew. Pale malt and wheat sweetness in the front. Bits of orange rind and white glue in the middle.more citrus and spice in the finish and into the linger. Light, yet packs a bit of a punch wit. 12/13

Hefe like but with a citrus bite to it not present in most hefs without the lemon wedge. Maybe they were going for a more subtle (and slightly more orange) version of that. Not bad.

Pours a finger and a half of head on a hazy light straw body. The aroma is lively wheat, spices and lemon. The taste mild fruit sweet tempered by lemon bitter. The texture is crisp, but a bit too much carbonation. It has great aroma and good flavor.

Pours a hazy straw color. Lots of sediment floating around. About two fingers white head. Good retention, some great lacing.

Aroma is bready. Banana and white pepper. Maybe some citrus zest. Yeasty aroma also.

Taste is banana and bready flavor. No doubt this is a wheat beer. Slight citrus, slight white pepper. Not a lot of bitter hops, maybe earthy hops.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. High alcohol wheat beer and no alcohol taste. Pretty well carbonated. Very smooth and somewhat dry.

Overall this is quite good. Good combination of spices and fruit. It’s different for a winter seasonal, and it’s really good. If you find it, I would suggest going ahead and buying it. I would recommend it, and I would buy it again.

Delicious wheat that is very good all around! Pours pale gold w/ a good white head & solid lacing. The aroma has a really nice combination of fruit & spice. The taste is flavorful, crisp, & well balanced. There’s some hopiness upfront followed by some soft fruit notes to smooth the beer out. Well done!
