Draft at Alla Spina. Pours a hazy yellow with thin, fluffy, white head. Nose of wheat, banana, citrus, tropical fruit, grass, some coriander and clove. Medium body, light bitterness on the finish. Typical wheat beer flavors with some decent hop flavor coming through. I was avoiding this, anticipating and overly spiced winter beer but this is change of pace. Lightly hoppy wheat beer. Iíd definitely drink it again.

Pours a hazy straw color. Lots of sediment floating around. About two fingers white head. Good retention, some great lacing.

Aroma is bready. Banana and white pepper. Maybe some citrus zest. Yeasty aroma also.

Taste is banana and bready flavor. No doubt this is a wheat beer. Slight citrus, slight white pepper. Not a lot of bitter hops, maybe earthy hops.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. High alcohol wheat beer and no alcohol taste. Pretty well carbonated. Very smooth and somewhat dry.

Overall this is quite good. Good combination of spices and fruit. Itís different for a winter seasonal, and itís really good. If you find it, I would suggest going ahead and buying it. I would recommend it, and I would buy it again.

Delicious wheat that is very good all around! Pours pale gold w/ a good white head & solid lacing. The aroma has a really nice combination of fruit & spice. The taste is flavorful, crisp, & well balanced. Thereís some hopiness upfront followed by some soft fruit notes to smooth the beer out. Well done!

Yellow color out of the bottle with a foamy white head. Big banana, clove and lemon citrus nose. German style wheat beer with some bubblegum, banana, clove, orange peel, and some pepper heat. Sweeter than your typical German wheat, but still tasty.

I really liked this beer a lot. Nice aromas of banana, cloves, bread and yeast. Flavors are more of the same with a very slight presence of alcohol. Pours like a Belgian ale. Creamy body with a funky finish.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a tall pilsner glass. Appearance: It has a light straw yellow color with a light haze and nice carbonation. The pour produced a tall and loose white head. It settles down fairly quick leaving just a thin layer of small bubbles most of which collect at the edge of the glass. Smell: The aroma has nice balanced level of wheat malt and spice with lighter fruitier banana like notes in the background. Taste/Palate: It is light and crisp with notes of the wheat malt, clove and coriander. It has a mild tartness and mild citrus hop bitterness in the finish.

This beer is ok. Iím not a huge fan of higher alcohol wheat beers. This beer looses a little balance with the light fruits and spice and then a little more alcohol. It was decent.

At Rockwell. I liked this Wheat ale mostly because it was very close to a hefeweizen. A bit of cross style oddness but overall pretty good. Serving: Tap

Bottle. Pours straw color with a thin creamy head. Aromas of banana, cut grass, bread and clove. Flavors are banana, clove, black pepper, fruity esters--stone fruits, grape and citrus--cut grass and bread. Slightly peppery, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Interesting fruity wheat. It doesnít particularly taste like a seasonal beer, but itís good.

champagne like carbonation and sensation to this light lemon pissy looking brew with a wheaty haze and a simply marvelous flavor. pine hops with sweet and lemony flavor the beer has mouth interest and there is a bit of warming i there. beery and hoppy with the carbonation and dryness near the finish and a slick mouthfeel that gives liquid fullness...donít judge this one by the appearance. the Belgian influence takes time to emerge from the botlle.
