4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bière IPA de couleur brune de 8.7% d’alcool, ressemble à un peu à une scotish de par le goût du malt un peu sucré, très houblonné, plusieurs explosion de saveur dans une gorgé!!!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hoppy, fruity, delicious aroma of NW hops, with grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, nuts, and malt. The taste is bitter, with an initial sweet, fruity impression that devolves into an earthy, peppery bitter toward the end, all along accompanied by sweet malts. Solid, medium mouthfeel. Very, very good.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Brown pour. Citrusy aroma. This ale has a ton of fruity, hoppy goodness. I’m not such a good judge of IIPA vs. strong ale. Is there a clear difference? I would drink this any day.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I passed my second Microsoft IT test for a certification this morning! It feels good to be done with all that reading, and now I am ready to celebrate with a six pack from Victory.
The pour was amazing. The head reached the top of my Sam Smith pint glass after half of the bottle. The aroma was sweet figs and evergreen hops.
The Yakima is a perfect late summer hop-harvest style beer. The fresh hops taste grassy and have a nice malt backbone to balance the strong bitterness. The finish has peach and pecan notes. The 8.7% is warming but not overwhelming. This might be the perfect late summer beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
pours a dark brown almost black, but can see though with light in the back. Fluffy tan head. the aroma is grape fruit, and citrus. the flavor is roasty, but with lots of hop flavor and bitterness. the hops are rigth up front to the end, but the after taste is largely the roasted malt. the hops are grapefruit, citrus, and your normal american hop flavors. overall this is pretty good, i would def buy again. it hids the high amount of alcohol very well, i didnt even realize it had that much until i read the bottle.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Aroma hits you in the face with the floral hops. Poured a dark amber color. Taste of big floral hops, little roasted flavor, then some citrus. good brew

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
It pours brown and yields a slightly darker colored body. A nice foamy white one inch head appears and lasts for a good minute before becoming lumpy and settling nicely at the top of the body. A fair amount of spider web yet foamy lacing occurs. Though a slightly transparent body when held up to the light, no carbonation is seen rising. The smell has the hops and the pine up front, a bit of grapefruit there, very subdued. The taste is bitter with the hops and pine dominating this aspect. The mouthfeel is a medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. It leaves a decent dryness. Though a fairly high ABV, still drinkable, the alcohol isn’t really noted or felt. Overall, a good beer by Victory.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thisis hard to classify. The flavor is complex. It has hoppy IPA characteristics but also it has some dark roasted malt flavor. There is a slight bit of bit chocolate. It is very interesting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Taken from old notes. Deep ruby pour with a citrus nose. Taste is a smooth mix of bitter and sweet. Finish is long and bitter. Hides the 8.7% really well.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a thin off white head. Aroma is earthy and a balance of hop and malt. Bold hop flavor but pretty balanced. Spicy note at the end. Overall a good hoppy ale. A bit too much hop for my taste but again, very well balanced.
