Draft. Golden pour, blueberries in the glass (seems popular in the up), flavor is a sweet blueberry muffin.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is the only fruity wheat beer I have ever had that I liked and didn’t taste artificial. It was just a smooth, slightly sweet beer that had just the right amount of natural blueberry flavor.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. The pour is hazy with blueberries at the bottom. Looks much like a wheat. The aroma is strong blueberries for sure, smells yummy. The taste has a faint wheat, but more of a wheat than anything. Refreshing. I would suggest.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Brewpub. On a hot July day, the tall flute of wheat beer with some blueberries in the glass was just what the doctor ordered. Somewhat dry, crisp wheat with a touch of blueberry. Nicely done.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had on draft at the brewpub. A cookie-cutter wheat with fruit added. Not too shabby. It would’addeden more enjoyed in july, as opposed to ass-freezing january in northern michigan.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft @ Vierling brewpub. Hazy golden colour, creamy white head, including a few complimentary frozen blueberries dropped in the glass...!? Aroma and flavour of wheat and sweet blueberry. Slightly bitter, fairly sweet. Not much to it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at the brewpub in Marquette, Northern Michigan. Pours a semi-clear amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of blueberry extract, some golden and caramel malt, a hint of honey and some light grassy hops. Taste is sweet, mostly blueberry with a hint of golden grain and wheat malt, Finish is semi-sweet with a lingering light blueberry aftertaste. Almost balanced but still a tad more blueberry flavor.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Vierling, Marquette. Hazy straw-orange body, hazy, with added (frozen...boo) blueberries. Spritzy carbonation; medium buff head. Grassy nose with fruity, tangy wheat and sweet blueberry. Good bitter herbal hops bite pairs nicely with blueberry and tangy wheat. Not too sweet or fruit-dominated. A quaffable summer wheat.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
5 oz draft sample at the brewpub, late July 2006. Cloudy amber-bronze with a lasting white head and lots of floating berries, for whatever reason I always love that so points on appearance!....very fresh, overripe fruit nose, a hint of pale malt and honey shows through with effort....body is surprisingly more sour than sweet, fruit compote just lightly dabbed on sourdough biscuits with more than a bit of acid tang and even a peppery note to finish....gets a bit sweeter, and thicker, close to room temp.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2006 On tap at the Brewpub Cloudy pour, with a few blueberries in the beer. They leave a blue stain in the white head. Blasting aroma of fresh roadside UP blueberries staining your hand on a fresh hot August afternoon. They’d get more points for this, if that aroma didn’t come almost entirely from the added blueberries. Flavor is similiar, but much lighter, more subdued and with a light skanky lemon sourness. Quite thin and without backbone. Some spicy cardamon finishes the brew.
