CharlesDarwin (1413), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 14, 2006 Golden orange-amber pour, wtih a rim of off-whiet. Aroma of light nondescript malt. Flavor is a bright, well balanced sweet tannin serries. A touch oaky. Nice body. Hops seem right on par for the style and lend good balance. Clean and well done in my opinion. Nothing remarkable. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Feb 17, 2005 On-tap at the brewpub: Very light amber color with a slight chill haze, a finger high cap of dusty white settles quickly; lacing in sticky sheets. Aroma is mildly airy of pale toasty malts thats lightly dryish and crisp with a small floral hop tease. Brief but stable flavors of slight toasted malts, kinda quick with a small floral hop, finishing with a subtle drying character balancing both. Feel is light to medium body thats crisp, quick, clean with a touch of drying. Not bad and goes down easy enough just a bit boring and uneventful.
