Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Well, it’s not much to look at, but man what a clean, crisp pils! I could drink this all day long. It’s very much in the Bitburger sort of model...light and gently hopped, but the flavor balance is so snappy and pristine that it’s hard to resist chugging it. I wish Bitburger were still this clean, since at least I can get that in the states.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Golden clear brew woth very crisp taste and finish is very refined sweetbitter finish.

#295 Hellgelbes Pils mit viel feinporigem Schaum. Eine grasige Hopfennote, die lieblich unterlegt ist. Im Antrunk schön frisch. Geschmacklich startet es blumig-malzig, wird dann aber aromatisch hopfig. Für ein Pils vielleicht eine Nuance zu lieblich, aber insgesamt ein sehr süffiges und gut bekömmliches "Vierzehnheiligener Bier"! Clear yellow pour with head. Grain, malt and hops in aroma and taste. Thin to medium body.

Standard lager colored, lively carbonation. Medium sized white head. Strong grassy aroma with thin butter, lemony fruitiness here as well. Medium bodied. Flavor is more grainy with still dry grass dominating, some soapy-oily mouthfeel lasts with grass still. Decent and refreshing pils.

Hopfig-klare Geruchsaromen. Milder Antrunk mit süßlicher Komponente. Mittel und Abgang feinherb mit akzeptabler Süffigkeit. Ok. Test vom 31.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

500ml bottle! In the glass looks pretty typical of Pils. Golden yellow color, fine pored foam and really a lot of growing up CO2. Dominated by the smell of hops. Starts nice hoppy bitter, but not too exaggerated, with a pleasant, indescribable flavor. The middle section is slightly malty. Sweet finish!

Bottle. Light yellow, virtually no head. Light malty and sweetish aroma with light grassy hoppyness and butter. Body is light to medium, malty flavor with light sweetness and grassy hoppyness, faint notes of butter. Finish is short, malty with light sweetness and hoppyness. Light bodied malty pils, nothing wrong – nothing special.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear palae yellow with a off white foam. Lots of grain and mild hay. Dry and crisp flavor. A bit rough/harsh around the edges. Ok
