Bottled: Dark chestnut color with a foamy, off-white head. Smokey malt aroma with notes of nuts. Flavor is medium sweet, malty, fruity fresh and light sourly. Smoke, hop and roasted malt in the end. Hop and roasted malt bitter balanced finish.

Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg. Amber coloured with a moderate white head and lacing. Aroma of caramel and honey. Flavour was also sweet, although with a nutty edge and a decent bitter finish. Enjoyable.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle at Quinns. Smokey metalic nose. Dark amber body with reasonable head and lace. Malty flavour with a bitter smokey finish. Little thin in the palate. Straight forward but enjoyable enough.
