Vieux Montréal Blonde

Bouteille de 341 ml achetée chez Métro Joanette (Verdun, QC). Arôme: Odeur de malt avec une pointe fruitée. Apparence: La couleur est blonde légèrement voilée avec une moyenne densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de céréales avec une pointe de citron. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture crémeuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de citron en arrière goût. (Rating #1496)

Nose is malt and some hops, golden, a small white head. Taste has a soft malt, bit of hops present. Light bodied, bitter. Fair. Thanks Radek.

bottle: clear light gold color, weak industrial style cap, heavily carbonated. grainy aroma light fruit tones and a chemical sulphurous twang to it..commercial smelling much like the old Dow ale Tastes pretty much the way it smells, grainy (fresh) but with a sourish malty-cider taste, dry spritzy finish. Weak mouth feel, thin, sour, spritzy...like Dow or Okeefe ale or any number of industrial ales that infected Montreal taverns in the 60s-70s...why go out of your way to recreate a style/taste that was never really good to begin with and is still all too common?

Bottle. Pours a clear yellowish-blond body with a white creamy head. Smells of sweet fruity cereal and grains. Tastes grainy and sweet...straightforward and watery.

Appearance :Golden with average weak top.
Nose :Clear fruity character, fairly fresh with light hint of hops.
Flavour/Palate : Very light bodied. Sweet with clean qualities. Light chewy malts with fruity overlaying. Quiet thin in substance but also it found it to be refreshing with its decent malty finish.
