Can. A clear, slighlty pale golden beer with a finger thick white head on top. Hayish, grassy nose with some pale malts and a hint of fruity, spicy hops. Medium body with a good carbonation. Dry, with biscuity malts, grassy, spicy hops and some hay. Quite low on bitterness. Short finish with some bitterness and a little maltyness. A quite tasteful one, at least considering the style, but it’s nothing impressing about it. Just a clean, boring lager like many others. (090418)

Bottle, bought @ Voldby Købmandsgård.
Pours pale, clear golden. A big, fizzy, bubbly, white head on top. Aroma is heavy, very skunky, almost like cow... Some hay, malts and brewin cereal. Medium carbonation, quite watery. Flavour is quite metallic, some sweet maltiness, light alcohol and a good dose of citric hops. Not very nice, really.

Thanks to gethinbeer for this one. Very pale straw colour. Very skunky aroma. Fresh malts and a soft hoppiness. Kind of thin-bodied. Light noble hoppiness and a fresh pale malt character. It’s pretty boring, but it isn’t bad.

Tap in Höfn. A decent enough lager. Pretty dry, slightly bready, no adjuncts noticable. A minor amount of crisp hops even show up in the finish. Mostly drinkable with a nice body. Leagues better than its main competitor, Gull.

Standard lager colored with little vanishing white head. Sweet fruity aroma with slight esters, some floral note also present. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more hopped with biting carbonation, still nicely soft palate. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Somehow I like this.

Canned. Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild malts, some rubber and paper. Flavour is sweet, malty, paper with some metallicness coming in the finish.

Canned at Petelax Beer Festival. Clear pale yellow, airy head. Papery and syrupy. Sweet and metallic with uncelan swetay fruit flavour. To call it mediocre would be an overstatement. This is awful.

(Canned) Slightly hazy, pale yellow color with a small, lacy head. Pale-malty, lightly grassy-hoppy aroma. Lightly honey-malty flavor with some mushrooms and grassy hops in the finish. Light body with slightly fizzy carbonation. Harmless, but quite drinkable.

500 ml can courtesy of theisti. Thanks for the can, Tim. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with a loose, frothy white head and tons lots of rising bubbles. The nose is of hay, sweet, grainy malt and a some light, grassy hops. Light-bodied and thin with surprisingly soft carbonation and a crisp, mildly dry finish. The taste follows the nose with a light sweet corn note added to the mix. This is a pretty middle of the road lager. It’s a notch above most macros but not nearly as good as the Egils Premium (another Icelandic Premium Lager) that I tried about a week ago.
