2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Myvatn Nature Baths, Iceland. Pours a translucent amber with a thin white, bubbly head that disputes quickly to a small ring around the edge. Aroma, as others have said is juniper. UK drinkers will also understand that it smells like 1p fruit salad sweets, or perhaps even a refresher bar. Slight metallic hint and light roasted malts. Moderate to strong bitterness with moderate carbonation and a thin body. Nothing particularly special.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the Stofan cafe in Reykjavik, Iceland This was the last beer tasted during our stay. The bartender said it was a 6% abv. The deep amber bock poured with small white head that dissapated to a white collar. There is juniper on the nose. The flavor was well balanced and the juniper added to the experience. The bock had average carbonation. I want to thank Haukur of Iceland who added this beer from Viking Olgerd.
