330 ml bottle at the Old Iceland Retaurant The bock poured a dark amber with a big head and lacing. The aroma of sweet caramel malt greets you. the taste is much of the same with some nuts and raisins. This beer has noticeable sweetness at the finish. An easy drinking beer from Viking.

Dark amber color with compact generous head. The aroma is too light. The mouthfeel is soft, not dry; ordinary caramel flavor with light puckery feeling; low bitterness.
Ok beer but not exciting.

Golden clear with nice white head that lasts. Dry hay, caramel and metal in the aroma. Sweet malt, caramel with metallic aftertaste. That lasts. Nice beer.

Bottle from Vinbudin in Reykjanesbaer (BB Oct 2014). Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (molasses, bread, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (apricot), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Another mild, easy-going Icelandic brew, but decent enough with no glaring flaws.
