Pours a golden colour with heavy carbonation and topped with a white head that collapses quickly. Not much in the way of aroma, some noble hops and a bit of grain. The taste is inoffensive but bland, with some corn with a light lemony overlay. Pretty refreshing when cold is about the best that can be said for this one.

Bottle 5.6% This enjoyed at the Perl in Reykjavik The pale lager poured a clear gold color with white frothy head. the beer had a fresh taste some hint of bitterness at the finish. The medium body beer had average carbonation. This lager had more taste of hops then most of the Iceland beers. Very drinkable. The bottle had a hiher alcohol then listed here.

Can 50 cl. clear golden with a medium white head. Malt and straw aroma. Bitter taste, light body with a malty ending.

A hazy flat straw watery bland brew. No carbonation or head. Nothing much going on here. Avoid.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet starch, malts, grains and some herbs. flavour is sweet malts, grains, mild rubbery and herbal notes. Also some mild floral notes.

Can in hotel room, Reykjavik. Clear yellow appearance with a bubbly white head. Fairly smooth, grainy, hay aroma. Somewhat sweet, dull bitter hoppy, grainy, straw flavor. One of the better icelandic pale lagers but still not very interesting.

Decent lager form iceland. Clear golden colour with small head. Not so much aroma. Sweet taste.
