Not sure if it was because I’m coming of night duty and my mouth is dry or because I Havnt had a lager or pilsner in a while but found this crisp and refreshing filling the need I had at the time.

Bottle, as Viking Pilsner Bjór, 4.4%. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty thin of some malt and maybe brewing cereal. Taste is lightly malty and not much else. Inoffensive but very boring.

Bottle, as Viking Pilsner Bjór, 4.4%. Pale gold with a white head. Grainy aroma with some flowers and spices. Taste is bland and sweetish with substantially less than balancing bitterness. Pretty watery and bland, but not awful.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2012 En helt ok islandsk øl. Passer fint til råtten hai. Utroolig godt :-). Flaske i Akureyri på island mens haien tinet. Hold dere unna de mørke bitene er mitt tips. På haien altså. Dette var en svært lys lager. Noe tynn i smaken også. Mild og lite bitterhet.

Can from a Reykjavik kiosk. Lots of water, some sweet malt, a hint of bitterness from the hops. Hard to get a decent beer at this strength!

Had this one bottled at the Brickskeller in Washington, DC. Clear, medium yellow pour with a foamy white head, standard corny nose, standard pale yellow whatever flavor, standard plain whatever palate.

Purchased on Good Friday (only thing we could get in Reykjavik), poured from the can, a very carbonated and very pale yellow with a large frothy white head. The aroma was sharo and grassy with overripe fruit. Not too offensive to taste, but lacking any real flavour. Carbonated, with a light mouthfeel - not surprising for being low alcohol, though not too dry. Was good compared to the Egils Pilsener!

Awful excuse for a beer. Water with a little bit of hops. Horrible appearance. Thought to be low-calorie beer for the ladies... poor them

I bought this just to try it.. wow this thing is bad!!! flat, almost no head, very watery

This brew is bad, very faint artificial tasting and it smells metallic, imagine that.
