JorisPPattyn (4275), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 10, 2003 Very clear gold, white head, big bubbles, unstable. Nose of grain and malt. Subdued malts' taste and bitterish finish. Watery mouthfeel. There is more acid from the CO2 than the apperent saturation would make you believe. Long-ish bitter palate. OK. Angeloregon (1867), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 17, 2007 Tried throughout Iceland on my 2005 vacation--Poured a straw yellow color with a small white head. Nose of grassy mlats and adjunct ingredients. This one was better than most other Icelandic beers. More of a hops profile than the others. Beer in Iceland is a sad state of affairs, but the country is so beautiful, that I couldn’t help enjoying this beer there. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 16, 2008 33 cL can, thanks to faroeviking. Pours pale yellow with a huge white head. Fresh aroma, mild hoppy and light malty. Flavour is much the same with a medium dryness and a light bitterness lingering into the finish. haukur (663), Reykjavik, Iceland Apr 4, 2003 hadnt had this in a long time until somedays ago when I found this in the fridge at a friends house. Not bad, maybe the most decent of all Icelandic beers. If I remember correctly, this one won some awards some years ago.. for what, I´m not sure :) jfm (1572), Holbćk, Denmark Jan 7, 2006 Bottle. Golden color with a white head. Thin malty body with a light hoppy bitterness.
