Botella bought in a 24 hour Maxima super market near Hotel Gile, Vilnius. Comes as "Vilkmerges Giros Gerimas". Unclear deep dark brown colour, short beige head. Very sweet bready, roasty malty rye breakfast sprinke stuff aroma. Sticky mouthfeel. Quite sweet dark bready roasty malty caramel rye flavour. Bit thin gira but ok.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
bottle, thanks faroeviking for sharing
caramelly brown, small offwhite head.
aroma is very close to "ymerdrys" which is old dried danish rye bread. it is used to pour over sour whole milk, where it fits nicely. You make it by granulating danish rye bread and storing it in a dry place. for a beer, this aroma is absolutely repulsing.
flavor is sweet, honey, syrup, very malty sweet, lots of rye. if you fancy danish rye bread with honey, go ahead.....

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle shared by Faroe. Brown body with a medium off white head. Aroma is OMG burned toasted bread with notes of weird spices. The flavour is extremely sweet with heavy notes of rye.

Yes - Gamintojas UAB "Vilniaus Alus". I suspect Vilkmerges as a brewer may not exist.
330ml bottle (Alaus Namai, Vilnius)
Dark brown, tan head. Clear, but sediment is left at the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is pure mammi - rye porridge to the uninitiated. Sweet sugary mammi taste, some raisins too. A touch watery, but also stickily sweet. Very refreshing kvass, more full of rye taste than almost any other I’ve encountered.
