The head is ok, the body light and cloudy. It smells yeasty, fruity, mango-banana. The taste is yeasty, dry, less hoppy. Ok but not so interesting. 11/10/11/11/-/11

Hazy yellow color, minimal white head. Medium aroma of wheat, some smoky notes. Taste is similar, a bit malty and spicy, dry with hints of citrus. Medium body and carbonation. Quite ok, refreshing and drinkable. Interesting bottle design.

400ml bottle. Hazy orange color, tiny head disappears quickly. Sweethish, banana, faint wheat and buttery aroma. Papery, wheat, straw flavor. Slick mouthfeel.

410ml bottle (Rimi, Tallinn) - shared by Marduk - thanks!
Pleasant wheaty aroma right from the pour, but it’s a little dusty and dirty. Some gentle banana and lightly coriander spicy breadiness. Smooth in the mouth, soft, gentle carbonation. Hazy yellow, reasonably persistent pale head. A sit warms it becomes slicker, but fuller generally, maybe worth another point, as it’s a bit tastier generally, less papery and more bready? Finish continues the wheaty coriandery sweet nature, pretty OK. Ups and downs, but I could happily drink this.

suurjuust (605) - ESTONIA - DEC 29, 2012
Pale yellow with medium white head, thin retention. Nose has wheat, banana, spice, herbal notes. Taste resembles the nose pretty closely, but with a slightly sweet and spicy notes with hints at sour wheatiness. Not complicated by any means, but a nice and crisp balance. Would be great on a hot summer day.

410 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow body, the head is quite small for a wheat beer. Aroma has some wheat and fruitiness. Pretty predictable taste of wheat and light spices. Some light nuttiness in the finish. Average wheat beer: good and drinkable but I couldn’t tell it apart in a blind test against other examples of the style if I had to, so it’s not memorable to me. What is memorable is the nice old-style bottle that this beer comes in.

Bottle 41 cl, from Bambalyne, Vilnius. Unpasteurized and unfiltered. Goldenamber colour, with large white foam. Aroma: herbs, citrus and yeast. Very refreshing taste of citrus! Also notes of coriander, herbs and banana. Sticky texture, lively carbonation. Very nice!
