COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

The head is ok, the body light and cloudy. It smells yeasty, fruity, mango-banana. The taste is yeasty, dry, less hoppy. Ok but not so interesting. 11/10/11/11/-/11

A light hazy, golden coloured beer with a weak white head. A light typical wheat beer aroma, cereal and spicy, herbal and floral too. Dry mouthfeel. A dry cereal flavour to start, wheat, oats and malt, citrus and tropical fruit, and floral, a tad soapy, then a pepper led spice and herb flavour, with clove, cinnamon and thyme. The finish is long and spicy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drugie z litewskich odkryć to hefeweizen.

Bottle from WB Stores, West Bromwich. I realise it’s a thin line, but this definitely seems like a Wit rather than a Weisse. In any case, it’s really good. Super smooth, glossy body, with a piquant lemon mintiness. Good chalk too. Reminds me of Brussels.

01.08.14, Bottle 0,44 l, local grocery store in Dziwnów, Poland. Jasnozłote, lekko mętne piwo o puszystej pianie pianie i świeżym, chlebowo-zbożowym, cytrusowym aromacie. Smak podobny do aromatu - złożony, chlebowy i cytrusowy z łagodną goryczką na finiszu. Piwo bardzo przypomina belgijskie blondy.

Bottle. Light opaque amber on the eye, weak white head. Wheaty yeast arome with hints of fruit. Sour-ish taste with light sweet finish. Some yeasty cellar notes. Okay, but no great. Weir aftertaste.

50cl bottle from Maxima, Vilnius. Hazy yellow with a white head. Fruity and wheaty aroma with notes of banana and yeast and hints of citrus. Medium sweet with some acidity. Quite refreshing and a reasonably decent hefeweizen.

Small white head. Hazy yellow body. Mealy fruity yoghurty aroma with spicy notes. Dryish mealy fruity yoghurty taste with spicy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mealy, sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish, faintly acidic, yoghurty mealy lemony aftertaste with dusty lingering spice notes. Nice, drinkable, subtle. (0.3l draft at Zoe’s, Vilnius.)
