Formerly Villacher Glockner Pils

Pours a clean golden color and about two fingers of white head with medium retention. The aroma is perhaps slightly more hoppy than I’m used, but by no means is this negative. The taste is straightforward bitter, without the usual initial sweetness. A very nice Austrian beer, exactly what you could expect.

A legjobb joindulattal sem hivnam ezt a sort pilsnek. Inkabb egy lagyabb lagernek vagy hellnek felelne meg. Teljesen semmilyen a cucc, de ihato.

Draught: Medium white head, that disapears quick, on top of a clear yellow colored beer. To be honest, smell and taste are like any other pilsner: malts, grains, hops, herbs, medium bitter. But other smell and taste ingredients that comes through in the (after) taste is something dough like with a light hint of lemon. Aftertaste is malty bitter with a hint of dough. Low medium carbo, tingling sparkling mouthfeel, medium body and a watery texture. Overall a well balanced and crispy brew.

0.5 l bottle from an Interspar in Villach. It poured pale yellow body with medium sized head. Lemony and grassy hops make its aroma. Flavor was slightly bitter, herbal, somewhat lemony with weak malty base. Some touch of metal here, as well, but nothing too evident. Maybe also a bit thin in body. Bittersweet aftertaste, short but fine. This is a pleasant pilsener, misses just some body and a bit more malt to be rounded well.
