Rich coffee and chocolate malts give way to a woodsy, clean hop finish. We invite you to try this double-mashed, single hopped IPA. We use over 8 pounds of Northern Brewers hops during the brew and 1 pound whole-leaf Northern Brewers for the dry hop.

On tap at the brewpub in Little Rock, AR. Pours a black body with a finger-width, dense and creamy, dark brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is richer chocolates with floral grapefruits and citruses, some light pine resins, a bit of an earthiness, and a nice roast backing. Flavor is similar. Lots of citrus grapefruits with a bit of a juiciness up front with some florals and a solid chocolate backing. Light pine resins and a moderate roast comes in before this finishes dry, pretty earthy, and moderately bitter with some nice citruses, roasts, and a light sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a soft, smooth, medium body and a very soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty damn good Black IPA and hands down the best beer I’ve had from Vino’s to date. Lots of citruses, a nice roast and chocolate balance, and a firm earthy bitterness. This new brewer is starting to dial in this system nicely. Well done.
