   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 14/20

On tap at the brewpub in Little Rock, AR. Pours a deep brown colored body with a finger-width, dense and creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened caramels, hints of nuts and chocolate, and a light earth. Flavor is solid. Lightly sweetened caramels with touches of nuts and a light oat smoothness. Chocolates come out a bit towards the end with a light earth and roast before this finishes clean, smooth, lightly dry and bitter, and lightly sweetened. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid brown ale. Nice and smooth with nutty caramels, a light chocolate, roast, and earth that is all well balanced and easy drinking. One of the better ones from Vino’s.

Thanks to my brother for the growler. Deep brown body like cola with a light brown head. Nose of lots of dough and milk chocolate. There is also some peanut. The taste has some bread crust and peanuts. There is also some light milk chocolate. Decent.

Location: Draft at Brewpub, 11/16/11

Aroma: The nose has some yeast, oats, nuts, and sweet malts
Appearance: Brown pour, minimal light brown head, touches of lace
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, some nutty and oat flavors, mildly bitter
Palate: The body is medium, fairly creamy, average carbonation, and a solid mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a solid offering. I liked it. It is pretty on style. This was another solid brew from Vinos.

from RBWG missing notebook-on tap&growler-retaining small tan head and black color. Aroma is roasty/chocolate-dark malt, some earthy. Taste is rich chocolate/roasty-dark amalt, some earthy. Full body.
