3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub in Little Rock, AR. Pours a cloudy, orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, dense, frothy and creamy, mostly white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is nice with a creamier banana and a lightly sweetened wheat. Light clove spice, some citrus, and a bit of a yeastiness. Flavor is similar. Banana and lightly sweetened wheats up front with a touch of dough. Light clove and yeast spice in the middle with a touch of citrus. Nice, smooth wheat finish with a light dryness and bitterness before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Clean, medium, smooth body with a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a really solid hefe and by far the best beer I’ve had from Vino’s. Very true to style, easy drinking, and enjoyable. Good one.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 8/2/11
Aroma: The nose is fairly typcical of the style: wheat, yeast, banana, citrus, and clove
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a decent sized white head
Flavor: The taste is made of almost the same components as the nose, decently sweet
Palate: The body is medium (but leaning light) with a fairly decent, smooth mouthfeel to it
This one was surprsingly good. I can’t say that I was expecting a ton from it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’d drink this one again, especially if I wanted something in this style and something made here in Arkansas.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
7 day old growler opened today. Hazy golden orangish pour with light carbonation. Aroma of bannanas and clove jump out at you. Very clovish flavor that hangs around and lingers. A medium bodied beer for the style. Decent palate and finish. Pretty good beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at the brewpub. It was explained to me that this was a fruit wheat. The body was hazy dark gold. The aroma was caramel with some malt and dark berries. There was also a little bit of banana. The taste was decent banana peels with some light hints of peach and stone fruit.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
first off, i disagree. i believe this is an american wheat. i asked the style at the brewpub and they told me american wheat. but beyond that, it had a great amount of banana, clove, and ginger. lots of yeast and citrus, lemon (though this is one american brewpub that does not offer to put a lemon in your beer thank goodness.)
