A nice and hot mead with a great balance between honey sweetness and a fruity tartness plus a warming alcohol sensation that gives it a great feel. A very well made mead, up there among the other great ones I have tasted and a nice surprise from this otherwise rather unknown "meadery". Great dessert wine!

May 5, 2008 Amber colour, no head. Honey and alcohol sweet aroma with a light floral note. Honey sweet flavor with alcohol notes and hints of flowers. Sweet finish with honey notes.

Apr 15, 2008 Bottle, thx to thewolf. Yellow colour with no head. Aroma is citrus, heather , flower. Flavour is heather, citrus, alcohol, sour, flower. Not my kind of mead.

Apr 6, 2008 Bottle, thx to thewolf. (14% ABV) Pours a yellowish, clear body without head. Heather and flowers in the aroma. Effervescent, thin mouthfeel with flavors of flowers and sugar. Flowery finish. This wasn’t my cup of tea at all, both strange and bad in my opinion. (080301)

Mar 3, 2008 (on bottle, thanx to thewolf) Super nose; walnuts, wood, autumleaves. Very lively, sdaly with a very thin body and a soyr-cloying finish. Too acidic-fresh for this tounge, could be nice with an apfelstruddel.

Feb 17, 2008 very good for mead - not normally happy about this. Quite fresh and mild with honey and flowery flavour and aroma. Would actually ask for another one ;o)
