Pale copper and citrusy, this all-American pale is brewed with US malts and Amarillo hops, which are grown exclusively by Virgil Gamache Farms Inc. of Washington state. Amarillos are sometimes called "Super Cascade" because of their similar characteristics and are known for their fragrant orange/grapefruit aroma. No armadillos were harmed in the brewing of this beer!

Serving: Draft at the brewpub. It pours a hazy amber color. The nose has a medium citrus character. The flavor has lighter citrus than the nose with a slight fruitiness, some earthy character, and a light bitterness on the back end. A touch of graininess from the malt side. Light in body with even carbonation. A nice daily drinker.
