Commercial Description:
An English-style Old Ale and our offering this year as our Winter Warmer. Brewed with imported British pale malt and a good amount of crystal malt, a hint of chocolate malt weighing in at 22 degrees Plato, this is one hefty beer. A luscious malt complexity is complimented with a light use of the UK First Gold hop varietal. An addition of blackstrap molasses rounds out the mix. Cheers!

Sampled at V50. Clear darker brown with an off-white head. Prominent, complex nose of rich, sticky figs, dates, cherry and molasses. Smooth, sweet brown sugar, dark fruits/raisin, caramel apples, a touch of light cola, toffee, earthy hops - enough for balancing purposes. Ends pleasantly sweet, not cloying. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice beer.
