COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mellow English-style ale brewed with Maris Otter malts and First Gold hops to create a balanced brew. Served using a blend of nitrogen and carbon dioxide (often known as "Guinness gas") which creates a smooth mouth feel and a lovely cascading head.

Served on draft at the Virginia Craft Brewers Festival, Devils Backbone, 8/25/12. Pours a clear copper color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel, stone fruits, floral hops. The taste is very fruity with caramel and toasted malt finish. Medium bodied.

Serving: Draft at the brewpub. It pours a hazy yellow-gold with a large, creamy head. The nose is dull, due to the nitro head I’m guessing. The flavor is slightly crackery with a hint of maltiness with a nondescript bitterness. Light in body with low carbonation and a dry, almost astringent finish. Definitely a little more bitterness than a Boddingtons but I like the concept.
