Cask at GBBF 2011. Dark brown color. Grassy roast in the aroma and flavor with nuts, old coffee, chocolate, pepper and some alcohol. Tastes a bit muddled.

Dark, reddish brown with a small tan head. malty with "hoppy" tones. Malt, coffee and hops. Medium to full body with a nice, bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Black with a small off-white head. Aroma of Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, toffee, fruit and raisin. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with plenty of dark sugar and molasses

GBBF. Cask. Clear brown beer, small tidy pale tan head. Smooth dry palate. Very fine and mild carbonation. Very mild dark malt. Good tangy red fruits underneath. Minerals. Dry finish. Pretty good - like an Imperial Mild!

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, berry fruity, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, berry artificial swee, dark malt, wood notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110804]

Gravicask, one-third pint at the USA Cask Ale Bar where the ales were gradually released during GBBF’11. Faint beige head that left solid lacing at the glass. Nice mahogany body colour. Brown and black malts to the nose. Tasty stuff with elements of chocolate, anise and bready malts supported by spices. Gentle bittering malts to the ending. Absolutely satisfying (London, 04.08.2011).

Deep red, beige ring head. Sharp fruity aroma, nearly sour. Spicy and almost peppery palate. Some milkiness , but a full roast too. A decent, if slightly quirky, porter - quite well balanced.

Cask @ GBBF 2011. A black colored beer, with a thick foamy light beige head. The aroma of candy coffee with some chocolate and fruits. The taste is gentle bitter with roasted malts and fruits. The aftertaste is gentle bitter too with some sweets.

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Fruit and tofffee. Vague roast. A bit of alcohol.

Cask@GBBF2011. Very deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is wood, liquorice, fruits, some ashes and mild floral ntoes. Flavour is wood, fruits, sap, some ashes, mild chocolate and some slight leathery notes.
