How beautiful is stout. Rich, roast, a bit of oatmeal, a hint of smoke... a big, black beer brewed with lots of love!

Serving: Draft at the brewpub. It pours black with a dense, light tan head. The nose is muted, but there is some roasted malt and smoke. Smooth and creamy on the palate if a little thin. Lots of roasty burnt character. A touch soapy. Fairly quick finish. Reminds me of a dry Irish stout outside of the ABV.
