COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The humble cream ale has a history intertwined with American working-class. We gave ours a rural twist by brewing with oats, flaked male, and Wisconsin clover honey.Mildly sweet, light and refreshing, and with a touch of honey in the finish. The perfect way to toast a busy day.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has honey and sweet grain with straw and cookie underlying. Flavor is sweet with honey and grains with a thin finish.

Keg @ Vintage. Gold pour with a white head. Nose of honeyed cereal. Angel food cake. Fairly straightforward. Flavor is quite sweet. Light toasty malt keeps things in check. Light body, spritzy carb.

Draft. Light honey and biscuit malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet honey, biscuit malt, and mild bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Yeah, it’s a cream ale.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear golden color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grainy malt and spiced fruit. Light body with flavors of herbal wheat, honey and malt. Slight corn in the background but not in a bad way. The finish is mildly spiced wheat and malt. Decent Cream Ale overall.

3oz on tap at the brewpub. Clear golden color. Thin ring of white head. Some loose bits of lace. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Good full feel to it. Cream corn aroma, breadiness. Corn bread. Lightly peppery, some hints of citrus. Pretty solid cream ale.

Tap at OF. Hazy yellow-tan body. Steady, respectable white head. Grainy, honey-tinged aroma. I was looking at it from a Honey Ale perspective..so I was a little surprised at the husky, sweet, cheap feel to it...kind of a six row feel. Not so bad, not so good either. Grainy honey beer.

On tap at Vintage Brewpub. Clear golden yellow with a small white cap. Aroma of sweet malt, honey and corn. Taste of honey, light corn, mild noble hops, light caramel and finishes up with a bit more honey than it starts.
