Draft. Nose is fruity with a candy smell. Taste is muddled ginger with a faint slickness to it. Overall an interesting beer but not my schtick

Taster on tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, Wisconsin. Mostly clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves respectable, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick texture. Awesome gingerbread aroma up front, great ginger flavor, mixed with citrus hop. Some light caramel, mildly grainy bready malt. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet, and a nice light zest to it. Light ginger kick. Tasty, interesting ginger pale ale, it tastes like. Tasty, impressive stuff.

Hazy orange color. Ginger and fruit aroma and taste. Some bubblegum flavor, fizzy feel. An interesting beer but not coming across as well defined. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours orange with a faint head. Aroma is dominated by ginger and sweet fruit tones. Very sweet with light carbonation and finishes with a spicy sweet kick. Pretty delicious beer overall

On tap at Old Fashioned. Unfiltered glowing orange body. Thin, oily head, active carbonation bubbles. Pretty nice as far as ginger beers go, well executed. Hits the mark as a yeasty Imperial Wit, and then adds the complexity of the ginger. Pretty solid, quite drinkable. Fruity tangy ginger notes. Smooth on the palate. Nice.

Hazy orange-dark amber. Thin white head, lasting rim around glass. Bigtime ginger all around, some wheat, perhaps honey and a bit of apple. Medium body, Sweet with a nice zing. The ginger steals just a little to much of the show for me.

8/10/12. On tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber pour with a small khaki head. Light ginger and caramel in the aroma. Light ginger, caramel, and bubblegum in the flavor. Not bad.

GNBF. Poured cloudy medium golden with a creamy beige head. The aroma picked up lots of sweet and tangy ginger and juniper over soft fruity malts. The flavor found aggressive, tangy ginger and fruit skins throughout.. some pale malts and wheaty notes at the core.. a bit too sharp on the finish. Medium-bodied with moderate-plus carbonation on the palate.. became medicinal.. OK overall.

On tap at Vintage Brewpub. Cloudy amber with a slowly fading beige topper. Aroma is sweet and spicy with ginger, citrus, coriander, herbal notes and mild caramel. Taste is malty and the ginger comes through nicely. Sweet malt, sugar, coriander, citrus and clove round out the flavor bill. Spicy finish, I enjoyed this one.

Draft on tap at Vintage (Madison, WI). Pours a rich murky dark amber brownish hue, offers rich haze, dulled, with a frothy offwhite head atop. Laces ok and small. Aromas are a firm dry hopping with mellow citrus, dry florals, and grass. Touches of sticky malts, mellow Nelgian influence, with some yeasty life. Initial is medium bodied, a bit more girthy than expected, offering dry citrusy and floral hops, firm bitterness, moving into touches of sweet sticky malts in the middle. Some sticky elements, toffee, dry citrus and florals. Finish offers touches of ginger spice, mellow dry hops and some orange action. Some sticky sweeter bigger malt action. Nice beer, a bit sweet at times but a firm hopping is quite enjoyable. Solid beer, a bit sweet and big at times, but ok. Ginger element overruns the nose at times, not as hoppy as you would expect. Really gets overrun by the ginger aspect for me..
