Smooth vanilla, quite drinkable despite the richness. Clean..for the style. Creamy chocolate milkshake tones, minimal and pleasant wamrth. Nice!

On tap at the brewpub - Pours dark black with a small tan head. Fairly roasty nose, but with some lactic sourness. Taste starts off with lots of dark roast, charcoal, tar, dark chocolate, and transitions into a real bitter dark roast finish. Lightly lactic and warming on the finish. Pretty flat in the mouth and thick, kind of like a thin milkshake. Pretty straightforward, but just not a style I’ve been digging lately.
