Draft at Vintage. Brown-amber black. Steady beige head. Sweet chocolate coffee aroma. Straightforward, but pretty well executed. Creamy caramel and chocolate malt tones, with a nice coffee bitterness. No real hop tones to speak of, overwhelmed by the coffee. Clean and fresh, a nice beer, albeit a tad one-dimensional.

On tap at Vintage Brewpub. Clear brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of coffee, espresso, dark malts and caramel. Taste of coffee, dark malts and caramel. Acidic and a touch oily.

On draught at the Vintage brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours an opaque dark brown colored brew with a creamy off-white that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of mostly coffee that overpowers any of the roasted dark malt and floral hops. Taste is mostly coffee with some toasted chocolate malt. Coffee continues throughout the finish and some roasted dark malt and chocolate malt comes through. It’s definitely one coffee-bomb porter.

Good solid brew. Great mix of a good porter and biter coffee. The coffee comes through on both he aroma and the finish.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours deep and dark with a thin tan head. Nice roast on the nose, with medium-roast coffee and some milkiness that offsets the roast. Taste is about the same, with the coffee lingering long into the finish. Really carbonated, which detracts a bit, but I had a full pint of this and never got sick of it. Nice stuff.

On tap at Vintage in Madison, pours a murky brown with a thin off white head that diminishes quickly, aroma is of roasty coffee with notes of chocolate, the flavor is smooth with a nice front end of coffee with a back end of mocha and chocolate, overall this is enjoyable and a delicious brew.
