Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L16074 AROMA: predominant floral and herbal aroma with a moderate malty-sweet neutral background. APPEARANCE: light orange color and cristal clear. small white head with low retention. TASTE: floral flavor with a slight and fruity note (cranberry). malty-sweet neutral background. low bitterness with a semi-sweet to sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a fruit beer with the advertised ingredients but a bit on the sweet side.

How : bottle Appearance : almost clear golden with a medium white head. Lots of bits of flowers (?) floathing around. Aroma : artificial candy , powder sugar and floral notes. Palate : thin body, high carbonation. Intensly sweet.

33cl bottle. Clear light pinkish golden colour with a small white head. Light floral and sugar in the aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is sweet with fruity and floral notes. Overall, drinkable.

Bottle, 33cL. @Largeasse. Gift from Cyril. A pink-orange clear beer with many bubbles ; medium white foamy head ; medium retention. Light violet, light floral, sugar, acid touch. Medium sweet, light sugary, light spicy dry bitter. Light body, thin texture, a bit sticky, good carbonation, floral spicy sweet dry finish. Overall, average light violet aroma beer ; really drinkable ; sugary but not too unbalanced.

Rosy golden colour with some purple sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is perfume and a field of violets. Taste is artificially sweet.

*Old rating, best before 09 Dec 11. A bit artificial fruity. Easy to drink but perfumed-soapy. The violette is there, but the whole thing has too much non-real aroma.

Light haze on this pale peach colour beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and mildly crisp. Sweet Parma Violets but not as sugary as that candy. A little generic berry fruit provides contrast. Light semi dry finish. Not bad by any means, no beer snobbery here now!
