Cask (handpump) at the Cask Pub & Kitchen on 17 January 2011 - meet the brewer night. Rather a lot a similar beers in the line up for this evening. This was another pale gold beer. Dry but a bit thin. Lots of citrus. Not bad but not as good as some of the others.

Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock, London 17/1/2011. A pale, golden beer with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus hop with a touch of creamy, sweet malts. Flavour had some grapefruit before a dryish finish. Ok.

Fruit and malt aromas. Clear golden coloured smooth on the palate pale and floral with a crisp and slightly bitter malt finish.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale malts, lightly wheaty, citrus pineapple(subtle), quite a bit of bitterness in the finish. Quite drinkable stuff.

Handpulled cask at the Old Cross, Hertford. Gold with a white head. A good citrussy chrisp golden ale.

Cask (handpump) @ Wellington (formerly Cask & Cutler), Sheffield, Bedfordshire England S3 8GG. On RateBeer Sheffield "Valley of beer" Crawl 2008. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, buttery, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (260708)

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Badged as Mighty Oak, Jake the Snake. Gold colour, hay, cut grass, citric lemon/grapefruit aromas. Good golden ale. Yet another good beer from Mighty Oak. Good dry finish with more grapefruit.

On tap at the Oakdale Arms Beer Fest, Feb. 21 2005. Number 1000! First beer drank in Europe ever (my first day in Europe even!). Light golden ale with a thin white head. Malty and faint hops in aroma. Light malt with a fresh and generous hops in mouth. Light yet balanced. Thanks to the landloard for this recommendation. Number 1000! Yeahhhhh!

Very pale straw beer, a fresh hoppy aroma and taste and more tangy and fruity hops at the finish, ending hoppy and bitter. (Cask at Melton Mowbray beer festival)

Melton Mowbray Fest. A golden beer. Aromas are floral, dry and fruity. Flavours are pears, floral and sweet pine hops with sulphur and some sweetness. Very addictive, good stuff.
