Pale yellow lager. Very watery. A little spicy. Coriander and cloves. Not that great. Rated 9/13/02

I was served this beer from the tap on the boardwalk at the Fort Christian pub in Christiansted. The sea life was exciting to watch, some very attractive women were there, and the food was really good bar food. The beers were not the highlight of the experience. The lager was a pale golden color with no head. Light nose with some citrus. Clean grains in the flavor with an almost berry fruitiness and some lemon citrus in the finish. Okay beer for sitting on the boardwalk.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow body. Taste is pretty offensive. Nothing redeeming about this lager.

Just a swill and I think a light one at that. NO info on either the label or from the brewer’s website as to the ABV; it seems NOBODY knows what it is, but it tastes like about 4%. Puny head, urine-like appearance and a watery taste. Best thing about this was where we drank it, at the brewery outlet on Charlotte Amalie. I notice by the label that this stuff is actually "brewed under the supervision of Virgin Islands Brewing, St Croix USVI by Virgin Islands Brewing, Cold Springs MN". Great! It’s not even made in the USVI. Devious bastards.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cletus (6182) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 25, 2008
Pours yellow with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, apples, some subdued citrussy hops, some dry malt. Tastes dry with some peppery splashes and a watery finish.

A great beer to have in the Virgin Islands! The aroma is not very distinctive, perhaps a bit grainy. All the flavors are light, perhaps leaning towards the sweet side. A smooth drink, with light carbonation. Crisp, good looking beer with a healthy glow, backed by Foxy’s powerful slogan, "Live de Life, Drink de Beer."
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 4, 2005
All about the atmosphere with this beer. Drink it on a boat in the Carribean and it won’t really matter what it tastes like. Yeah, it’s weak, watery and unimpressive, but under the right circumstances it becomes much better. I found it to be slightly malty with some soft fruit flavors and a bit of hops. Clean and refreshing.

Clear light gold. Nose slightly grassy. Thin flavor, not much there, but at least not harsh in any way. Predictably bland.

Bottle - nice colorful, tropical label, this is unfortunately the best thing about the beer. Clear, pale yellow-gold and fizzy - looked like diluted sparkling apple cider. Aroma is corn syrup and herby hops. Light malty flavor, citrus tang and grassy hops but overall watery and thin. Light, thin body and mild carbonation. This one is good only to wet your lips on a hot Caribbean day - keep your expectations low.

Pale yellow coloured. Very weak aroma. Very weak flavour. Very thin. very boring.
