Ungstrup (11354), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 2, 2006 An orange beer with a slight haze underneath a bubbly light orange head. The aroma is fresh and grassy combined with notes of lemon - my first guess was British hops, but the bottle claims Cascade - then not enough has been used. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, and this typically "We’ve just started microbrewing" note, that is hard to describe - but it is very rustic. It also has a hint of metal, before a slightly bitter end sets in, which in turn resides for a fruity aftertaste. Use more hops - please - otherwise it is not an APA. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 9, 2008 Bottled. Hazy dark amber, small head. Aroma of grapefruit and mango. Dry, clean and crisp, a bit grainy. fairlyligt bodied with simple malt structure well hidden in American hops. Long bitter finish. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 11, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a lightly creamy, off-white head. A lightly citrusy nose from the Cascades. Medium-bodied with some caramel sweetness and a light bitterness in the finish. A decent but far from great APA. 100506 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 29, 2008 50 cL bottle.
