COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RedStreak is a proper English style draft cider. With its hazy lemon hue, scent of ripe apples and just a touch of oak, RedStreak has a crisp, tart finish that pairs perfectly with your favorite mature cheddar. First discovered in Herefordshire in the 1630s, the Redstreak bittersharp apple produced a cider so delicious it was deemed to be ‘fit for kings.’ Whether paired or on its own, RedStreak Cider is your next drink.

On tap at the Hill Farmstead Harvest Festival VIP event, Vermont. Pours clear, very pale yellow. Lovely cider from start to finish. Moderately dry with fresh apples, light sugar, mild tartness. Moderate funk in there, light acidity. Stupidly clean and fresh. One of the best American ciders I’ve had.

On tap @ Bagby Beer. Clear gold with a shirt lived white head. A lot of apple skin and smoked, baked apple. Slight citrus zest. Sort of a champagne and yeast note. Flavor is kind of heavy on the mineral and apple skin. Light tart and citric note. Cooked apple. Sort of sweet.

Tap sample. Poured hazy pale color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate aroma of tart apple. Light to medium body with a dry texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy tart apple flavor with a medium to heavy tart finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met.

>> Flat light golden near straw, little to no foam. Nose is green apple Jolly Rancher. Chemical, weak taste: sour green apple, English or American cider in style, cheap sparkling white wine. Mild paper finish. Hmm, pretty meh.

On tap at Revolution. Pours a clear pale yellow with visible carbonation but no head whatsoever. Aroma has a good amount of tart green apple witha strong backing dryness. Flavor is similar with tart green apple but has a bit of sweetness and a dry finish.

On tap at Dutch’s. Totally clear, slightly yellow color, no head or lace. Almost colorless. Very interesting apple aroma here... Oak, light funk, maybe a hint of smokey earthiness. Lightly tart taste, lighter sweet relative to other ciders, finishes more dry. Very light, crisp carbonation, more dry finish, and a very light body. Very easy to drink. This is actually chuggable, whereas most ciders are too sweet for that to be possible. Great stuff!
