COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RedStreak is a proper English style draft cider. With its hazy lemon hue, scent of ripe apples and just a touch of oak, RedStreak has a crisp, tart finish that pairs perfectly with your favorite mature cheddar. First discovered in Herefordshire in the 1630s, the Redstreak bittersharp apple produced a cider so delicious it was deemed to be ‘fit for kings.’ Whether paired or on its own, RedStreak Cider is your next drink.

On tap at Craftsman - Yellow pour with next to no head. Nose is white grape, dry apple, a little leather, and no spicing. Same taste--dry and clean with lots of white grape. Very crisp. Thinnish with ample carbonation.

17 nov 2012, tap. Very pale yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is faintly sweet, primarily tart apple cider. Thin body, dry and a bit fizzy. Really, really dry and really, really tart cider. Maybe faintly oaky. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hello, you. I could drink on this sweet tartness quite a bit more than what I got from a tasting flight pour at Good Beer. Slightly hazy bright pale straw. Nose of granny smith apples, lemons, and a touch of wood. Taste add some funk and rubber in a great way. Color me intrigued.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2012 Sampler @ the GI Clyborn location. The color is pale straw. Aroma is drying, slightly acidic, and fruity apples. Well balanced not sweet and very well done for an English style. Flavor is fruit forward than good dryness and mineral apple without the sweet. I really enjoyed this cider.

Full sampler at Brixie’s in Brookfield, IL.. Showed almost clear, with quickly diminishing bubbles and no lacing. The nose was pleasant sweetness and apple. The sweetness dominated any tartness in the flavor which was basically fruity, lightly syrupy, but thin. Soft carbonation sealed the deal on my impression of a bland palate cleanser.

This is one of the best ciders Ive ever had. Generally not a huge cider guy but the complexity of the flavor is fantastic. The apples are prominant and juicy with notes of citrus, light funk, oak, and a dry finish that makes you really want to keep drinking it. Great cider.

I consumed a few too many of these at the Revolution Party. Clear yellow thin head. Aroma of light malt lemon some hay funk. Tart lemon citrus bright strong carbonation. Dry with yeast and funk. Really interesting and tasty. Wow I wasn't expecting this. 8/4/8/4/16 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
