COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RedStreak is a proper English style draft cider. With its hazy lemon hue, scent of ripe apples and just a touch of oak, RedStreak has a crisp, tart finish that pairs perfectly with your favorite mature cheddar. First discovered in Herefordshire in the 1630s, the Redstreak bittersharp apple produced a cider so delicious it was deemed to be ‘fit for kings.’ Whether paired or on its own, RedStreak Cider is your next drink.

Pours a pale yellow with a head that does the quick rise and fall thing, it’s got a few tiny bubbles rising.

The cider is lightly fruity smelling but has a nice earthy clay and limestone character to it. It’s a touch funky & very inviting.

The flavor is very tart, a touch sour and dry throughout. The cider has a great earthy and minerally character with some tart apple and apple rind flavor.

Very enjoyable.

On tap at Craftsman - Yellow pour with next to no head. Nose is white grape, dry apple, a little leather, and no spicing. Same taste--dry and clean with lots of white grape. Very crisp. Thinnish with ample carbonation.

Draft on tap at Goose Clybourn (Chicago, IL). Welcome Greg Hall to the fold again, folks. Pours a pale straw hue, champagne hued with just a touch of haze. Some gentle carbonation with a brighter white head that dies to a small ring, laces small. Aromas are crisp and bright apples, sweet and touches of tartness. Gentle funk, yeast, and gentle crisp straw. Rich apple, touches of fruit sugars. Initial is a touch fizzy, dry and prickly front offers some cotton, gentle apple, champagne yeast. Dry and effervescent with touches of apples, fruit sugar, red apples wit some mellow dryness, gentle funk and touches of spice. Dry and champagne based, lovely dryness with some gentle sweetness. Very champagne influenced, dry with gentle sweetness, light carbonation though. Quite striking. Lovely rich dryness, with mellow sweetness making it’s jabs. Red apple, a faint tartness into the backend and finish. Quality local fresh cider here that wins over someone that does indeed enjoy Champagne.

Tulip pour at village tap... Crystal clear transparent gold pour, somewhat lively with some bubble action going on. Non-existent head... Aroma of semi-tart red apple meat and skin. Clean, dry, and crisp... Flavors are more of the same semi-tart refreshing red apple, lightly sweet. Not that oaky. To sound like a broken record, crisp clean refreshing and really drinkable. Light on the palate. Dry finish.

On tap at Revolution. Pours a crystal clear, pale yellow colored body with no head. Aroma is crisp and lightly tart apples with a touch of sweetness. A hint of oak and champagne. Flavor is similar. Clean and crisp apples with a light sweetness and tartness. A touch of oak again before this finishes dry and lightly tart with a hint of sweetness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a clean, crisp, light body and a champagne-ish carbonation. Overall, a really solid cider. Very fresh apples with a light tartness and touch of sweetness. Extremely easy to drink with a pleasant dryness. Pretty impressed.

On tap at Schuba’s Chicago. Pours slightly cloudy slightly irridescent green. Flavor is bright and tart with just a touch of sweetness and a light alcohol note. One of the best American ciders I’ve had and in fact beats many at their own game as it has a good balance of tartness and fizziness.

Hello, you. I could drink on this sweet tartness quite a bit more than what I got from a tasting flight pour at Good Beer. Slightly hazy bright pale straw. Nose of granny smith apples, lemons, and a touch of wood. Taste add some funk and rubber in a great way. Color me intrigued.
