Can, 0.5l. First beer from Estonia. Redish color with small head. Preety strong alcohol taste. It’s little caramel and bitter. Preety poor beer.

Bottled (thanks SADESA & CueSheet). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is alcohol, some spruce, fruits and some wooden notes. Flavour is quite similar. Thin and a bit alcoholic though.

From the archives and re-rated: it is for sure not Vienna or amber lager. Stands closer to English strong ale. Faint caramel aroma, hop aroma typical to bitters. Medium sweet with bitter medium bitter aftertaste. Plenty of roasted malt and caramel. Medium body and carbonation. Rather oily texture If you gonna compare it to Thornbridge Equinox or Fuller’s 1845 you will be disappointed. But this one costs 1/2 price, and is, actually, enjoyable beer. My advice: get the whole series of GB, serve them at the right temperature and right glass, and you will not be disappointed.

I hate West Coast IPAs (and American hoppy microbrews in general), so with that caveat in mind--ugh, too much. dump a ton of hops into the mix of a Baltic strong lager, add some caramel, and some rusty nails, and voila, finale! Give me an A. Le Coq Maiz any day over this

Well made beer, better quality than the usual estonian beer. These american hops always seem to please me.

0.5l bottle. Smells like deodorant. Uncomfortable Hubba-Bubba aroma. Taste is same. Drinks like a multinectar juice. Good carbonating fixing little that taste, but i cant enjoy that. Pear taste and bad raisins on finish is unpleasant. This beer is like some alco coctail drink.

I know. Lets just throw a load of sugar into the copper and see what the yeast does. Then lets throw some caramel into the copper to see what happens. Lets not bother with any hops at all. If that’s the case, then I’m not even going to bother reviewing properly.

Bottle. Clear amber color with a disappearing head. Aroma of syrup and caramel. Slightly sour taste of caramel. A bit too much alcohol in finish.

Bottled 500ml (Stockmann Tallinn, BB 05/2013)
Clear amber color, vanishing off-white head. Sticky caramel, woody aroma. Light to medium bodied. Caramel, nutty-woody flavors, very carbonated mouthfeel.Industrial feeling.
