Light pissy hue with a very thin head. Skunky weak nose. Weak malty taste with a bitter hoppy finish. Nothing to write home about. Completely boring and standard.

NOTE: This is not really a rating. I’m converting my old notes over to BR. This is more like "check" for my own purpouses, that I have indeed drunk this beer at the time it was produced.

Hotel Room , Sheffield. I also had it on another 2 occasion. Skunky and grassy lager with an unpleasant sourness. Stay clear...

Elwood (3311) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - APR 26, 2010
Serving: 12 oz. bottle. It pours a clear yellow with a foamy white head. The nose is a bit of grain, euro lager, and papery hops. The flavor is a bit grainy with slight notes of non-descript bitterness. Light in body leading to a short to medium bitter finish. Overall a pretty poor brew.

[bottle] Lemony hops and grainy aroma. Pissy yellow with a lasting white cover. Watery flavour with a tiny bit of lemony hops and not any malt. Light body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle, golden color with some head. Aroma is more malty, flavor is more sweet too, not interesting. Without aftertaste.

Prismic cone shaped bottle. Sweet start with hops, grain and malt notes. Bitter finish. OK.

Viru has a faintly sweet aroma and some sweet malt in the flavour with the tiniest soupçon of hops in the finish.
