Sauna Beer is a light quality beer, which pleases and refreshes everyone who come from hot sauna. Sauna Beer, with its mild taste and its moderate alcohol consistency, is also great to drink during a hot summer day.

Pale goleen with a white head. Sweetish and malty aroma. Taste is sweetish too with malts and bread. There is a hint of smokiness too, which separates this from the most lagers. Lively co2. I would prefer something more bitter after sauna. (500ml can from Prisma supermarket in Tartu, Estonia, bb 5.8.17)

can. Golden clear. Weak malty, smooth yeasty nose. Light bodied, weak malt pudding, kinda yeast-startery bland doughy flavour. A pretty normal pale lager. Low bitter, low flavour. Tastes surprisingly good now though (after a bunch of sauna & snow rolling :)

Bottle from Rimi, Tallinn. Pale with no head. Not much aroma. Maybe some fruits. Sweetness. Not much bitterness. I prefer more crispyness for Saunabeer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl bottle from Rimi, Tallinn. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Very mild grainy aroma with some lightly fruity notes and hints of cooked vegetables. Moderate sweet with a light bitterness. Watery and not much flavour, but drinkable. Would probably work better in the sauna.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear, pale golden with a small bubbly head - that soon reduces into a thin lacing. Looks pretty watery and probably tastes the same. Aroma has some corn, bread and gasoline - just what I have grown to expect from Viru Õlu since their Frederik days. Obviously this beer is not meant to be drunk for its aroma nor taste. First sip - it tastes pretty much like beer flavoured sour water, leaving a small hint of rubber and biscuit. Finish is quite short, this beer can indeed be drunk as fast as you drink water, made for large gulps. After sauna this is fine, otherwise… not.
