1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle 0.5 l, Tallinn. Pale yellow, fizzy short and disappearing head. Nose is slightly flowery, fruity and grassy hoppy with malts in the background. Flavor is very very thin, sandy dry, thinly malty with a bit of citrus peel harshness. Stingy carb. Absolutely no aftertaste. The taste ends on the tip of the tongue. One of the least enjoyable lager beers I’ve had and is pretty close to carbonated mineral water. Nose promises much better.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2008 Matty - you had a duff one. And it’s a different beer from Svejki, I’m sure; can you try a head-to-head?
500ml bottle (Stockmann, Tallinn)
Pale yellow, brief billowing white head. Aroma was a decent kick of noble hops - pilsner style. Alas I got a hint of metallic nature from them. Some light malts come through too. Fairly soft palate. Light malty body has plenty of hops to back it up, even hints of pepper and ginger in the finish. I’d vote for this being promoted to ’Pilsner’, to be honest.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
I had this and I am not sure if the beer was off but it had the appearance of a wheat beer but was supposedly a lager! The appearance was a very hazy golden colour and smelt grassy with a hint of citrus. The taste was citrussy but then became increasingly sour. I am not sure if this beer was intended to be like this. I will rate it again in future.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled. Clear golden, firm head. Light mustardy nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Rather empty and completely without bitterness. Some lemon hide in a distance. Sharp and void.
Earlier Rating: 1/18/2002 Total Score: 1.4
Yellow. Medium bodied, low bitterness, strong cellar flavour. Despite the name not a pilsner, just a cheaply made lager.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Malty aroma, maybe some hay in it.
The color of the beer is wery pale, does not not look that interesting. Thin flavor with some hops, a bit butter in the palate. Not bad but nothing special neither.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draught @ Tristan & Isolde, Tallinn
Yellow, slightly hazy color, creamy white head. Nose is a bit harsh with malts and hint of hops. Crisp mouthfeel. Flavor has lemon water, malts and sweetness. Sourish aftertaste. A bit hard-to-rate lager.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
(4.2%, bottled) Light lager color. Slightly hopped aroma. The "flavor" is fruity, almost completely nonexistent, although there is a slight hoppy side-taste if I really make me believe so. This is one of the beers that should never have been brewed.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Some yeast (and hensfood of course) in the aroma.
Watery and too much carbonation.
Rather refreshing (I guess I was really thirsty).
