Yellow colored brew. Faint malty aroma. Flavor has some sweetness, grains and some malts. A lot of carbonation.

The cool bottle is pretty much the only reason I bought this - to the collection it goes. Straw yellow colour - this has to be the clearest beer in the history of beer making - resembles a white wine. White skiff skull and a thin line of lacing. Nose is fleshy with two nostrils. The smell is grainy, a bit sweet (lemony), wet grains actually. Better aroma than most but then again maybe this is just me not having a Euro pale lager in forever. The taste is a bit light on some sips but it retains the grainy quality quite well. Light bitterness and spice near the finish, no spice on the finish. you can chew out the spice and hops on this one. Finishes dry and bitter. Better than I thought. Gassy as hell though.

10 oz. bottle. Pours a gold/champagne color with a white head. Aromas of malt and a hint of spice. Has a muted Belgian taste. Tried more for the nuance of an Estonian beer. A fair amount of carbonation and light bodied. Nothing special.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2012 Lets not talk about the bottle. Decent smelling lager that pour pale lager eye with a little haze. Taste is fairly mild and better than I was expecting. Has a slight pilser bite to it but it is smooth enough to be one of the better americam pale lagers. Clean and crisp without any skunk. Must be a fresh bottle even though it looked old sitting there on the shelf. Yes, easy beer for a lager lover but 5 times the $ of what the same lager would get you from the states. Finish is pretty good but perhaps a tad watery. Amicable overall beer experience.

Sweet bottle. Pours a clear pale golden with a quickly fading rocky white head. Aroma is sweet grainy malts and a bit of sharp fruitiness, apples, a bit candied. Flavor starts bland and slightly sweet , some malty hay and a very basic sweet fruitiness. Finishes lightly bitter and non offensive. Light body and a fizzy carbonation. By no means fantastic but you have to appreciate a pale lager that doesn’t offend too much

bottle. light yellow, white head. light dough in the nose (dusty flower, stale butter, light biscuits and grain husks) with a slight chemical/solvent note but not too powerful. transparent, light body, pale flavor, little depth, light oxidation (stale notebook paper). medium to med-high carbonation. i’ll definitely save the bottle.

Very light lager with little carbonation. Relatively sweet flavor compared to most lagers and doesn’t have any distinguishing characteristics.

bottle - to tell the truth I only bought this because of the cool-looking bottle, the beer inside was basically a typical, cheap pale lager not worth more than the few sips required to rate it, yuck

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tasted from 10oz bottle purchased at Binny’s Hyde Park. Pours pale yellow with a fizzy and short-lived head. Nose is pale malt with a just a hint of hops, banana and yeast. The nose is rather subdued. The flavors are even more subdued with just a little bit of malt and hops. The body is light and watery with very little carbonation. This is not a very good beer.

Funky cool bottle. Pour is a pale lager with little head. Aromas are watery grain with little else to hold my interest. Flavor is cloying pale lager malt and is pretty bad.
