COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
VITALSBERG IS ONE OF THE MOST INTERNATIONAL SPANISH BRANDS IN THE WORLD, AVAILABLE IN MORE THAN 60 COUNTRIES. IT CONTINUES TO BE BREWED ACCORDING TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE FROM 1516 AND WITH THE SAME "A" CATEGORY YEAST LIKE IN OLDER TIMES. THIS RECIPE AND THE EXTENSIVE QUALITY CONTROL METHODS HAVE MADE VITALSBERG WHAT IT IS TODAY. THE FRESH AND FRUITY YEAST AROMA TOGETHER WITH THE MILDLY BITTER TASTE ARE KEY CHARACTERISTICS. THE VITALSBERG BRAND IS WIDELY SUPPORTED ON A GLOBAL SCALE THROUGH SPONSORSHIPS AND INTERNATIONAL ADVERTISING. VITALSBERG IS A BEER FOR THOSE WHO SEEK GREAT TASTE EXPERIENCES; ORIGINAL VITALSBERG, NOT CLONE!
Ingredients: water, barley mat, unmalted barley, corn, hops, colouring agent (caramel E-150C), stabilizing agent (E-405).

GoufCustom (874) - HONG KONG - DEC 4, 2013

330 ml can bought at 759 Store in Lung Sum Avenue, Sheung Shui.

Piss golden yellow colour; Razor thin head and residual white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Small sticky lacing with active carbonation; Pungent smell of malt, with strong corn, bread, faint lemon and smelly light grass; Near zero sweet taste of malt, with light wet card board, strong corn and toasted grains, bread, light lemon and muted grass; Light body, thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is corn-loaded macro Pale, with unusual malty thickness, very dry and bready. Light wet cardboard managed to ruin the pleasure; Hoppiness is lemon hint and smelly grass nose, low citrus and grass taste, and noatable muted bitterness for semi finish; Very dry after taste, easy to mouth.

Comments: Another cheapo macro, this time from Spain. Adjuncted as it may, it does show some good dryness and malty characters that most macros wouldn’t bother. Quite a spunky one for me, if only without the light cardboard.
