Bottle. A dense, white head leaves lacings. The body is almost clear, dark golden in color. Biscuity malty aroma with some grassy hops and a touch of yeast. Medium body, soft carbonation. Lightly cheesy, grassy hoppy flavor with a bready maltyness, bitterness and some fruity hints. Bitter, bready and malty finish. Not my favorite in any way, but it drinks quite easily. 130516

Bottle. Sensoric. Pale golden, medium hazy with medium, white, semi-densed head. Very good head retention, poor lacing. Fruity - peach, apricot aroma, also light to medium grainy aroma. Taste is nearly medium bitter thru the whole of degustation in the end it becomes more intense. Light body, creamy texture, average carbonation, finish is medium bitter.

Colour is copper/amber, with a white head. Bittersweet aroma. Lemon, orange and caramel notes give the beer a nice balance. Not an extraordinary beer, but nonetheless a good beer.

Bottle. Orange, golden pour with frothy head. Fruity, grainy aroma: peach, old grains / hay, hint of lemon zest, hint of blue grape. Fruity taste that has a hint of IPA, apple juice. Not really outspoken. Relatively bitter development. Peachy aftertaste.

New Viven beer with dense, frothy, snow white head and orangey amber colour, lightly hazy; pleasant aroma of ripe peaches and pineapples, apple, orange peel, biscuit, pink grapefruit, walnuts, honey and quite a lot of iron. Fruity onset, sweetish with smooth, honeyish and caramelly malt sweet background, slick and highly drinkable; finish has agreeable, citrussy and grassy hop bitterishness. Enjoyable thirst quencher, which reminded me more of an English bitter than a Belgian pale ale (or ’spéciale belge’), in its hop bitterness, lightness and smoothness.
