3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 33cl, Geers. Pours clear orange, sparkling. Rocky frothy white head. Nose of Euro hops, slicky palate a bit buttery, guess it’s also and English yeast they’ve used. Finishes with a touch of caramel malt and spritzy bitterness. This is the perfect base ale for a dryhopped bitter / APA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clean light amber body and stable head. Simple Belgian malts, lightly fruity, lightly caramelised, sweaty yeast. Amber, burned malts. Quite bitter aftertaste actually. Herbal hops. Decent brew. (33cl bottle from Dranken Geers shared with Pau on brewday)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip glass. From trade with Mathieu87, thanks! ABV 5%
Deep golden orange colour on the body, with a huge white head. Thick, with good retention. Medium lacing on the glass.
Quite malty aroma, some fresh grass. Reminds me of a lager. There is some faint but nice hops aroma as well.
Taste follows the aroma, malty, mildly bitter with good duration and the hops kicking in on the aftertaste.
Medium thin on the body, soft carbonation.
Overall not bad, but not on par with the other beers I had from the brewery.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl bottle at home. Hazy orange with a medium white head, which disappeared pretty quickly. Medium body with moderate to high carbonation. Sweet and bitter. Citrus, grass, herbs and hops. A mediocre ale.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
33cl Bottle at The Red Rose Cafe, Brugge on 22nd Sep 2013.
Very un-Belgian in taste, those English Golding hops asserting themselves I suppose?
Poured a misty copper colour with a thin head covering.
Lacked oomph in both the aroma and taste: some yeast and fruit notes but not enough to excite my taste buds (it was drank after on-tap stronger beers though).
Mr Average in all aspects and a little disappointing to be honest, almost bland in fact.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Slight hazy golden colour. Nice pale malty nose, greenish hops. Reminds me of a good soft german pils. Body mouthfilling, smooth and nicely malty. Green noble hoppyness with a bit of citrus. Really nice balanced brew. Isn’t over the top hoppy or caramelly, but has the basics well covered.

Bottled, BB 11/12/14, large sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of fruity english hops, slight spicy note, crispy grainy pilsener malt. Soft bitterness in taste, slight sweetness. Very well balanced, easy to drink. Decent stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Rose Red. Dark blonde, medium head. Tangy aroma of grapefruit, lemon, bread, grass. A bit of funkiness in the flavor, with nice citrus, bread / biscuit. Tasty, clean, and refreshing. Drinks up there with much stronger Belgian blonds. I really like this brewery so far.
